A Day Dream

One day, whilst sitting through a mundane lecture, I came across a rather deep hole in the ground next to my desk. No one else seemed to notice the hole but me. I nudged my friend sitting next to me and they looked over. “I’ve found an escape tunnel!” I said as I got up from my desk and started climbing down the ladder into the darkness. My friend followed after me, the teacher still yapping away, oblivious to the holes presents. Who knows were the hole went but it was sure as heck better than being in class.
