On the Other Side

If you’ve ever been to a hotel, you’ll know that there are a lot of doors, doors that you’ll probably never see the other side of. People usually assume that there is a small room on the other side of a door, a room with a bed and window and maybe even a kitchenette.
I like to think that there’s something wonderful on the other side of the doors; a different universe through each one. Maybe through room 209 there’s a portal to the moon and room 113 holds a portal to the great pyramids.

"Feeling Small"

If you haven't heard my ranting already; the "When the Walls Whisper" set is complete and ready for business! I'm so excited to make the short, but don't be expecting it any time soon.
I'll need my new computer which has the necessary ram and editing soft ware required to make movies. Once I get the computer I promise many new and interesting movies, movies are my favorite thing.

The Dream Whisperers

Dream whisperers have the ability to implant dreams into children’s ears.
Quite often the dreams will fall out of the child’s ear as they grow older and their ear canal gets big enough for the dreams to fall out.
Some unfortunate children have their dreams taken out; this is called: ‘dream eating’ in which someone (usually an adult) verbally sucks the dreams out of the child’s ear. The best way to avoid this is to not listen, forget what your head is saying and follow your heart. Believe in fairies, because who’s to say otherwise and visit your dreams; where logic doesn’t mind.
The dream whisperers are one of my favorite creatures and I thank them for coming, but I just wish they’d come more often.

Made of Stars

The spectacular story of the star people and the theory of the big bang

Quite a while ago there was an atom, no one knew how it got there or where it came from, but it was there anyway. A few more atoms appeared in space and they all connected with the power of gravity to create a star. The star was there for a while I guess, building gold and other cool stuff inside it. When the star got old it died, like all things eventually do. The super nova (explosion) caused by the dead star spread all the cool stuff around creating everything I guess.
I’m pretty sure this is what they called ‘The Big Bang’ but how do we know it was big with nothing to compare it with? And how was there a ‘bang’ with no ears to hear it and no air for the vibrations to travel through?
So I guess if all this is true; which there’s no way of knowing, then everything thing that you have ever seen, touched, smelled or tasted has been made inside a star, even you.

P.S. If you’re from a different universe, I’d love to hear how yours was created.

Little Trip

Once a year we visit a place on the East Coast of Tasmania called Freycinet. It's a lovely little place with cyan water and bright orange rocks.
Me at mushroom rock, Honey Moon Bay.
 Brush tail possum!
Me with a cute little wallaby.

 The wallaby's fluffy tail.
Our really windy first day at Blue Stone Bay.
Mr Wallaby going in for a kiss.
 The writer's location.
 Young photographer.
Our campsite.

apricots!

We decided to rescue the apricots from the evil birds, who were eating them, little do they know that we're going to eat them (I always thought apricots looked a bit like bums...)

Having a Blast

 My Little Light
To get this shot I had to except that I was going to get bitten by about ten mosquitoes, I hope it was worth it.
 Alton George the Last Pony
Unfortunately the carousel at the botanical gardens is going to be taken away, it's the oldest working carousel in the whole world (built in 1882).

My cat thinks he's a super model.

Self Inspiration

Have you ever wondered where inventors get their ideas, inventors such as: Thomas Edison, Leonardo da Vinci or maybe even cave men? Maybe they were time travelers, traveling across space time itself, forward of course.  Perhaps they traveled forward in time; saw their future inventions, traveled back to their own time and decided to make their future inventions then, creating a paradox of where the idea came from to start with.

My Old Friend; Whale

So the other day I met up with an old friend of mine, I thought I'd introduce him to you, "Hello, this is Whale."

The Hottest Day

Today was the hottest day ever recorded where I live, they've been recording since 1882. There were massive bush fires all around the state. It was 41 degrees (Celsius), which is really hot around here (it's usually 20-28 degrees in summer).
Almost completely off subject; here's me at the beach today, sporting the color red.
